WEWORK — BIRMINGHAM
Photographed to document the interior environments across two WeWork locations in Birmingham, at Colmore Row and Brindley place.
The project covers a range of shared and private workspace settings, designed to support different modes of working within flexible office environments. Both sites bring together open collaboration areas, quieter focus spaces, meeting rooms and communal facilities, each tailored to their respective buildings while maintaining a consistent WeWork design language.
The photography was commissioned to capture how the interiors function in daily use, with attention given to spatial flow, material finishes and the balance between openness and privacy. Particular emphasis was placed on documenting how the workspaces adapt to different scales of occupancy and patterns of use throughout the day.
The photographic approach combines wider contextual views with more detailed observations, recording the relationship between furniture, lighting and architectural structure across both locations. This allows the character of each site to be documented while situating them within the broader WeWork portfolio.
The final images were produced for brand communications and internal documentation, forming part of WeWork’s visual record of its Birmingham workspaces. This project sits within an ongoing body of work photographing design-led commercial and workspace interiors.
