Design haus liberty x dara maison - JOE & THE JUICE KENSINGTON

Photographed to document the refreshed interior of Joe & The Juice’s Kensington store, commissioned by Design Haus Liberty as part of a wider design update incorporating bespoke furniture and spatial refinements.

The project centres on the integration of Dara maison’ss custom furniture range within the existing retail environment, balancing brand continuity with a more considered, design-led material language. The refresh focuses on clarity, durability and flow, supporting the operational needs of a high-footfall hospitality space while maintaining a strong visual identity.

The photography was produced within a live trading environment, requiring careful coordination around customer movement and staff operation. Particular attention was given to the relationship between fixed architectural elements, bespoke joinery and furniture pieces, ensuring the design interventions were documented as part of a cohesive whole rather than isolated features.

The photographic approach combines wider spatial views with more detailed observations, capturing how the refreshed interior functions in use and how the bespoke elements sit naturally within the broader store layout.

The final images were produced for brand communications and design documentation, supporting Design Haus Liberty’s work across commercial hospitality interiors. This project forms part of an ongoing body of work photographing design-led retail and hospitality environments.
